The 2017 Honda Civic Hatchback is a five-door model, which is the redesigned version of the 2016 Civic Hatchback, the tenth generation model in the lineup. The Japanese automaker is reviewing the all-fresh version with the Honda Civic Hatchback model, a near-construction concept, at the 2016 Motor Show in Geneva. The automaker has confirmed that the new model hatchback would be released worldwide and that it will be constructed in Swindon, United Kingdom. The class competitors of the new model hatchback include Ford Focus, Volkswagen Golf, Nissan Pulsar and Renault Megane.
2017 Honda Civic hatchback Redesign
The external styling of the 2017 Civic Hatchback will be similar to that of the sedan and coupe versions. Although the new hatchback is going to be equipped with the same external features as those of the outgoing model, it may experience some aesthetic changes. As a result, it comes equipped with redesigned LED headlights, with the daytime running lights, which are also designed with the LED technology.
Around back, the new model hatchback comes equipped with taillights, which are attractively designed with the LED expertise, with incorporated LED light bars. The back bumper features a gigantic faux-diffuser, centered on a double exhaust middle exit. Unlike earlier generation hatchbacks from Honda, the new hatchback has assured showing off intents and it is geared toward a younger group.

Honda Civic hatchback 2017 Interior
The interior of the 2017 Civic Hatchback will be identical to that of the outgoing model, but with minor changes that are restricted to trims and colors. It comes equipped with a roomier cabin when compared to that of the earlier model, particularly it offers more space at the back. However, it will feature a huge main touch-screen to replace the complex split-screen system of the earlier version.
The new hatchback comes equipped with some standard features that include electronic parking brake, adjustable cruise control with low-velocity follow. Also there are seven-inch HD display acoustic infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility, road departure mitigation system and collision mitigation braking system.

2017 Honda Civic hatchback interior
This time, the new Honda Civic Hatchback 2017 comes equipped with two engine options. One power unit will be a new three-cylinder VTEC TURBO turbocharged gasoline powertrain with the displacement of 1.0 liters. This powertrain offers the new hatchback the essential power and twist of 127 HP and 148 lbs per foot respectively, with the CO2 release rating of 99 g/km. This powertrain would replace the existing 1.8-litre petrol engine in the outgoing model, but the 1.6-litre capacity i-DTEC diesel powertrain is expected to continue
The second new engine will be a four-cylinder VTEC TURBO turbocharged gasoline engine with the displacement of 1.5 liters.
Both these power units are aimed at the EcoBoost power unit of Ford, equipped in the Ford Focus, the arch-competitor of the new Civic Hatchback. These new powertrains will come from the individual Earth Dreams fuel-economy innovation of Honda. This feature will boost the efficiency of the new hatchback and will increase the fuel economic environment, as well.
Base price and the date of release
The 2017 Honda Civic Hatchback is expected to be released for sale during the early part of 2017 with the estimated starting price that ranges from 15,000 to 20,000 GBP ($ 21,910 to $ 29,214)
