2017 Honda Accord Hybrid interior
The 2017 Honda Accord will be offered with two powerful engine options.
The first powertrain will be a four-cylinder unit with the displacement of 2.4 liters. This will deliver the vehicle the power and torque of 185 hp and torque of 181 lb-ft respectively, and the variant with 189 hp and 182 lb-ft. The engine will be paired with a manual transmission or with a CVT system.
Models that come equipped with the CVT system will offer city, highway and combined mileage of 27 mpg, 37 mpg, and 31 mpg respectively, whereas those with manual transmission system offer city, highway and combined mileage of 23 mpg. 34 mpg and 27 mpg respectively.
The second 2017 Accord engine option will be a V6 unit with the displacement of 3.5 liters. This will produce the greatest power and twist of 278 ponies and 252 lb-ft respectively. This engine will be paired with a six-velocity automatic transmission. The petrol variant is DOHC Atkinson-cycle 2.0 liter inline-4 with 143 hp, and torque of 129 lb-ft + synchronous AC electric motor. Those combos make the power of 212 hp, 1.3-kWh lithium-ion battery pack.
