2017 BMW 3-Series GT Interior

This time, the all-new BMW 3-Series 2017 experiences a number of changes in its engine section. Beneath the hood, the 320i model of the new vehicle comes equipped with a four-cylinder power unit with the displacement of 2.0 liters. This powertrain produces the maximum power of 180 HP and torque of 200 lbs per foot. The model has rear-wheel-drive system as standard and it offers the city, highway and combined mileage of 24, 36 and 28 mpg respectively.
The 328i model comes equipped with a stronger powertrain than the 320i model to get 240 HP and 255 lbs per foot of torque. The engine accelerates the model to a speed of 60 mph from the start in 5.4 seconds, with the top speed of 155 mph. The new vehicle offers the combined mileage of 27 mpg.
The 328d model will be powered by a turbocharged diesel unit with the displacement of 2.0 liters. This power unit produces the maximum power and twist of 180 HP and 280 lbs per foot respectively. This model will be offered with the rear-wheel drive system as standard and it offers the combined mileage of 26 mpg with the automatic transmission system.
The 2017 BMW 3-Series GT M 340i model get’s power and torque from a six-cylinder power plant with the displacement of 3.0 liters. The power and torque offered by this power unit would be 326 HP at 6500 RPM and 332 lbs per foot at 1380 RPM respectively.

This engine makes the model to attain the speed of 60 mph from the stationary mode in 4.8 seconds when equipped with the rear-wheel drive system and 4.6 seconds with the xDrive system. These figures are 0.3 seconds and 0.2 seconds faster than the drive systems of the 2015 model 335i. This power unit will be mated to an automatic or with a manual transmission system. With the automatic transmission the model offers the city, highway and combined mileage of 22, 33 and 26 mpg respectively, whereas, with the manual transmission, the model offers the city, highway and combined mileage of 20, 30 and 24 mpg respectively.
All power units can be had with the rear-wheel drive system or with the all-wheel drive system, and all petrol-operated powertrains offer the option of a retuned eight-velocity automatic transmission system or the slick six-velocity manual transmission system, which now consists of a rev-matching utility. However, only the 340i model will be capable of combining the xDrive system with the stick.
Price and the release date
The release date of the 2017 BMW 3-Series is expected to be the first quarter of 2017 with the initial cost that ranges from $30,000 to $ 60,000 for BMW 3 GT, according to the model and the optional features.
