The 2017 Ford Fusion Sport is the newly introduced stronger and faster model of the last Fusion. The American global auto manufacturer unveiled the Sport trim with the already available base and hybrid models at the Auto Show in Detroit. The 2017 Ford Fusion sport will get its power and torque from a V6, twin-turbo power unit from the EcoBoost family with the capacity of 2.7 liters. This engine is tuned to produce the maximum power of 325 horses and the highest twist of 350 lbs per foot. Ford claims that the performance figures of this power unit are far better when compared to those of the Accord from Honda, Camry from Toyota, and even some BMW engines. Furthermore, the 2.7-liter power plant is the first V6 unit to be fitted in the second generation of this Ford sedan. From 0-60 mph it goes for 6.4 sec with the top speed of 155 mph or 250 km/h.
Regarding fuel economy, it offers the mileage of 17 mpg when it is driven within the city and 26 mpg when it is driven on highways.
Base price and the date of release
The new Fusion Sport 2017 release date is expected to be around the second half of 2016. When comes to pricing the new vehicle will be available at a preliminary price of $33,475.
