2017 Nissan Rogue Review

The Nissan Rogue was first introduced to the market by Nissan in 2007 as a 2008 model year vehicle as a substitute to the Nissan X-Trail. This compact crossover sport utility vehicle was unveiled at the 2007 International Motor Show in Detroit. Now, the Japanese automaker is going to redesign this model for the model year 2017. Even though the 2017 Nissan Rogue experiences a subpar performance when compared to that of its competitors, like the 2017 Mazda CX-5 and the 2017 Honda CR-V, it still stays as a pleasing enough small crossover sport utility vehicle. With some of its vigors, such as user-friendly technology options, a versatile interior storage, an optional third-row seating, and a smooth highway ride, the new Rogue happens to be an ideal family vehicle. The 2017 model Rogue will be offered with three models that include S, SL, SV, such that all models come with a two-row seating as standard, and except SL, the other two models will be offered with a third-row seat as an option.

All models are also offered with a more powerful optional powertrain beneath their hoods. This will be a four-cylinder power unit with the displacement of 2.5 liters. This engine is finely tuned to offer the models the maximum power output of 170 horsepower and the maximum twist of 175 pounds per foot. This power plant will be paired with a Continuously Variable Transmission structure, which will direct the generated power to the front wheels or to all the wheels according to the driving system. This is for the reason that the new Rogue 2017 will be offered with the front-wheel drive system as standard and the all-wheel-drive system as an option.

All models of the new Rogue will get better acceleration through their respective power units. These powertrains make their models attain the speed from 0-60 mph in 9.3 seconds when they come equipped with the front-wheel drive system and 8.9 seconds when they come equipped with the all-wheel drive system.
