2017 Nissan Armada Review

The Armada is a big SUV vehicle from Nissan, it was first introduced to the market 13 years ago. This model shares its body-on-structure F-Alpha platform with the Xterra and Nissan Pathfinder sport utility vehicles, and Titan and Frontier pickup trucks. Eventually, the Japanese giant has plans to replace the current model Armada, which is extremely slow in its sales, for the next year. As a result, they showed the 2017 Nissan Armada first time at the Car Show in Illinois(Chicago) this year. The improved, completely boxed ladder framework now has four-inch-broad side railings, when compared to the 2.4-inch rails found in the current model.

The body of the 2017 version Armada has solid, on the frame structure, offering a balance of durability, utility, and robustness. The body of the vehicle has sharp look with attractive V-motion grille. The front fascia of the vehicle comes equipped with a daring grille and a redesigned bumper. The front fenders in the front include realistic air intakes and the outside back view mirrors feature while the driver approaches the vehicle, a light welcome system that switches on the pool lights. Curb weight is between 5,576 – 5,963 LBS, with cargo space of 16.5 Cu.Ft.

The cabin of the Armada 2017 will be more luxurious, like that of the Infiniti QX80 model. Though it has a smaller cargo space, it is crammed with an abundance of padded surfaces, and the vehicle marks a wholesale improvement in inside finery over the current model. Even SV, the base trim of the new Armada, comes with a sound system(Bose) with as many as 13 speakers, navigation, double power seats, and a back view camera.

The new Nissan Armada 2017 comes equipped with the same engine as that of the QX80. As a result, a fine-tuned V8 powertrain with the displacement of 5.6 liters will power the new vehicle. With the variable valve timing and direct injection features, the power unit will be capable of producing the maximum power of 390 ponies and the highest torque of 395 pounds per foot when. It is upgraded when compared to that of 315 HP power and 385 lb-ft produced by the engine of the current model. The powertrain will be mated to a seven-velocity automatic transmission(by Jatco) that offers a great ratio spread than the earlier five-velocity transmission system. The engine accelerates the new model Armada to the speed from 0-60 mph in 6.2 seconds and it offers the vehicle a maximum towing capacity of 8500 pounds (approx 3864 kg).
Gass mileage is not that good, but what to expect from the big V8 engine, 13 mpg in City / 18 mpg at Hwy.

Base cost and the date of release

The release date of the 2017 Nissan Armada is expected to be the concluding part of 2016. The base mode(SV 2WD) will be available at an initial price of $45,000, SL 2WD-$49,150, Platinum 2WD-$57,090, SV 4WD-$47,300, SL 4WD-$52,050. While the most expensive model Armada Platinum AWD have price of $59,990.
