The Forte is a small size family sedan, which was introduced to the market during the middle part of 2008 by Kia Motors, the South Korean giant. It was released in a coupe body style with two doors, sedan body style with four doors and in hatchback body style with five-doors. All trims of the 2017 Kia Forte will be powered by a four-cylinder powertrain with the capacity of 2.0 liters. This engine generates the power of 147 horsepower. For maximum effectiveness, this power unit employs the Atkinson cycle with an extension stroke, which is considerably longer than its valuable compression stroke.
This power unit also offers an enhance acceleration to the new vehicle. With this powertrain, the vehicle attains the speed of 60 mph from the start in 8.7 seconds, which is 2.1 seconds faster than that of the 2016 model Honda Civic 1.5T coupe. The maximum velocity attained by the vehicle through this engine is 122 mph.
The transmission will be a 6-speed manual system as standard and a 6-speed automatic system as an option.

Base cost and the date of release
Each model of the all-new 2017 Kia Forte Automatic will be released on different dates, but not later than the concluding part of 2016. Regarding pricing, all sedan models will be available at a base price of $15,900, whereas the hatchback models and the coupe models will be available at a starting price of $18,090 and $19,890 respectively.
