2017 Genesis G90 Review


The 2017 Genesis G90 is the first luxury vehicle of the renowned South Korean Company, Hyundai Motors. It comes with comfortable, luxurious and a roomy cabin, as well as with a powerful engine to offer an enhanced performance and improved fuel economy. This gasoline power plant offers the new vehicle the maximum power output of 365 hp at 6,000 RPM and the maximum twist of 376 lb-ft at 5,000 RPM. This engine will be mated to an eight-velocity automatic transmission system(manual shifting mode) with the rear-wheel drive system as standard. It also offers better acceleration to the new vehicle that makes it reach the velocity from 0-100 km/hour in 7.5 seconds and the maximum velocity of 240 km/hour. Regarding fuel economy, the powertrain makes the new G90 the mileage of 15.6 liter/100 km or 15 mpg when it is driven within the city limits and 8.5 liter/100 km when or 27.7 mpg it is driven on highways. The combined mileage offered by the vehicle would be 11.1 liter/100 km or 20 mpg.

2017 Hyundai Genesis G90 engine

On the other hand, the 2017 Genesis G90 5.0 Ultimate comes equipped with a V8 Tau GDi powertrain with the capacity of 5.0 liters. This gasoline power plant offers the new vehicle the maximum power output of 420 hp at 6,000 RPM and the maximum twist of 383 lb-ft at 5,000 RPM. This engine will also be mated to an eight-velocity automatic transmission system(manual shifting mode) with the rear-wheel drive system as standard. It also offers better acceleration to the new vehicle that makes it reach the velocity from 0-100 km/hour in 5.4 seconds and the maximum velocity of 240 km/hour or 150 mph. Regarding fuel economy, the powertrain makes the new G90 the mileage of 18.5 liter/100 km or 12.71 MPG when it is driven within the city limits and 9.2 liter/100 km or 25.5 mpg when it is driven on highways. The combined mileage offered by the vehicle would be 12.6 liter/100 km or 18.7 mpg.

The new Hyundai Genesis G90 2017 comes equipped with an electronically regulated air suspension system that controls the damping force, according to the conditions of the road. It will be offered with three different driving modes, such as Eco, normal, and snow to perk up the ride and the stability.
