The Tundra is an American version light duty motor vehicle, which is also the first full-scale pickup truck of North America, produced by the Toyota. The model was introduced to the American market in 1999. The 2017 Toyota Tundra is the adaptation of the current Tundra and it will be released with some minor tweaks in its interior and exterior design, with always powerful engines. Although the model is not powerful as its class competitors in the United States, it offers better performance and fuel economy when compared to past models.
2017 Toyota Tundra Changes, Exterior
Although the 2017 Tundra comes with minor external changes, they are expected to be the notable ones. First, it comes with redesigned front and back end to get an aggressive as well as a modern look. At rear end there will be chrome rear bumper, but only for SR5 and Limited trim.

On the other hand, the 2017 Toyota Tundra Limited gets some additionally “stuff” like heated mirrors, silver base front grille, and with a set of 20-inch alloy wheels as standard.
The TRD Pro model comes equipped with a TRD double exhaust, distinctive external lighting, Bilstein shocks, and with a set of 18-inch alloy wheels as standard besides getting the external features of other models. The 2017 Tundra towing capacity: SR 10500 pounds, SR5 6800 pounds, Limited 10100 pounds, and Platinum 9500 pounds. Payload: SR 2080 pounds, SR5 1600 pounds, Limited 1670 pounds and Platinum 1630 pounds.

The new model will be constructed with the body length of 228.9 inches, width of 79.9 inches, and with the overall height of 75.0 inches. The 2017 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro model comes equipped with a satellite and High Definition radio, and a seven-inch touchscreen as standard. The model also has a plethora of optional features. The new Tundra comes with the maximum passenger volume of 126 cubic feet.

2017 Toyota Tundra Interior
This time, power and torque will be delivered to the new Toyota Tundra 2017 through three different powertrains. It will be offered with both rear-wheel and all-wheel drive patterns. The strongest power unit is a 5.7-Liter Aluminum i-FORCE V8 with DOHC, with 381 ponies @ 5,600 RPM and the twist of 401 lbs per foot @ 3,600 RPM. Gas mileage for this engine city/highway/combined is 13/18/15 mpg.
The second power unit will be a V8 gasoline unit 4.6-Liter Aluminum i-FORCE with DOHC. Through this power plant, its have 310 ponies @ 5,600 RPM and the torque of 327 lbs per foot @ 3,400 RPM. Gas mileage city/highway/combined 15/19/16 mpg.
Both these powertrains will be paired with the six-velocity computerized transmission. The 5.7 l power units also offer the new Tundra better acceleration, from 0-60 mph it goes in 6.7 seconds and to get the maximum speed of 107 mph.
The third power could be a V8, 5.0 liters Cummins diesel. Through this power plant, the new vehicle should get 300+ ponies. However, it is an only rumor, nothing official from Toyota yet.
Fuel tank capacity is: SR 26.4, SR5 26.4, Limited 38 and Platinum 38 gallons.
Date of release and price
The release date of the 2017 Toyota Tundra is expected to be during the last quarter of 2016 or first quarter of 2017. Regarding pricing, the starting cost of the new vehicle ranges from $ 30,000 to $ 50,000, according to the models and the discretionary features.
