Recently Germans unveiled its crossover at the Motor Show in Paris. The Mercedes-Benz Generation EQ Concept is the future electric crossover model from Bavarians. The concept crossover is a sample which show in what direction will Mercedes go. The automaker has plans to release 10 all-electric models to the global market within 2025 and expects its electric vehicles to make up about 15% to 20% of its sales by 2025.

The external look of the new Mercedes Generation EQ Concept is amazingly tidy, spotless and neat, with a well-planned side surfacing. It comes with an athletic, smooth, hunched back three-fourths look above its 21-inch alloy wheels, similar to that of the Cayenne. The vehicle gets this spotless-sided look due to hurling the mirrors and door handles.

The Mercedes-Benz Generation EQ Concept will be equipped with two powerful electric motors on its front and back axles, offering the new concept vehicle the max power of 300 kW(about 402 hp) and an expected higher twist of 516 lbs per foot. Although the capacity of the battery set, from which the motors would get their required power has not yet revealed by the automaker. It is expected that a durable lithium-ion battery set with the capacity of 70 kWh will be the ideal choice. It also comes with a quick battery charging system that charges the battery within 5 minutes for a 62-mile range.
The new concept vehicle also gets better acceleration, as it attains the velocity of 62 mph within 5.0 seconds. The new EQ crossover will be capable of covering a maximum distance of 500 km or 311 miles/ solely on electric power.

To conclude, the new Mercedes-Benz Generation EQ Concept will be followed by all other electric vehicles in the lineup of Mercedes-Benz, which will be released within the next three years. However, their base price will be similar to that of the GLC, meaning the starting price may be $39,000.
