2018 Ram 2500 Heavy Duty redesign

The exterior design of this model will be very attractive and we can expect some little improvements from the outside. First of all, the general appearance of this model is very similar to current year model, probably will have the same dimensions as the current model. But of course, we can expect the addition of some new details on the body. The front fascia is especially appealing and it will be very muscular, and it looks a bit lower than we used to. Engine and Performance

Beneath the hood, this model could be powered by a Cummins I-6 diesel engine with a displacement of 6.7L, as the current Ram. This engine generates 350 horsepower as well as 660 lb.ft of torque with manual transmission(6-speed). Automatic with 6-speed have 370 hp and 800 lb-ft of torque. The power from this engine will be routed to rear wheels. We heard from reliable source that horsepower should remain the same, but torque will be higher, more than 900 lb-ft, as our source claim.
When it comes to transmissions system, it should remain the same, the engine will probably be mated to a 6-speed automatic and manual transmission system. All six trims will use the same engine.
Old 6.4-liter HEMI V8 and 5.7L HEMI V8 will stay in the offer, as soon as wee find out more information, we will post latest updates.
