When someone says luxury, probably the best synonym for that is Rolls Royce. All models they had are so elegant and expensive. If you have some Rolls Royce model, you are definitely the happy and very successful man. As we know, a few months ago, the British announced that they already test a new aluminum architecture, starting from 2018 every new R.R. will have it. This new architecture is built around an aluminum space-frame. The latest 2018 Rolls-Royce Phantom will be ready for market in the second part of next year, and it will use that new technology. This model is already tested, and we have some photos from the testing. However, the new Phantom was camouflaged, and we didn’t see so many details. Despite that fact, in the next review, we will try to present you this model as best as we can. So, let’s start with the exterior design.
2018 Rolls-Royce Phantom Changes
As we already say, this model was tested and we have some spy photos from that testing. In general, just one look at the photos, and you can recognize that you look at the Rolls Royce. However, also just one look at the front fascia, and you can notice that something is missing and that this model isn’t ready for the production yet. We can notice that the driving lights that are usually located below the headlights, now are not there. It will be probably, but at this point, that is not the case. Also, we can’t see the air dam and corner vents yet. However, we can notice that the whole front fascia will be a bit taller compared to the previous model. According to pictures, the profile side will remain almost the same as before and at the first glance, we can see good old iconic Phantom styling.

Many parts of new 2018 Rolls-Royce Phantom will remain exactly the same as in the current model, for example, body shape, mirrors, doors…
Just like the profile side, the rear side is also unchanged and everything will be the same as before. Unfortunately, we can’t see exhaust outlets because of camo. One change at the back will be the taillights. It will be certainly redesigned, and that is quite visible in the photos. We don’t have official info, but we assume that all lights on the vehicle will use LED system. The wheels are also very large, and it will be probably made from aluminum. Its size is unknown.
Rolls-Royce Phantom 2018 Interior design
The interior design of this model is very mysterious despite the fact that we have some spy photos of the cabin. But mostly the whole dashboard, as well as door trims, was hidden under a black cloth. Also, this model is far away from the production, and everything is still insecure. According to Company, we can expect modifications when it comes to technology segment. We can anticipate upgraded infotainment system LED ambient lighting as well as bigger screen and gesture control. Just like the current model, the new one will have standard leather upholstery on the seats and it will provide a lot of legroom and headroom. Everything else from the outside will remain the same.

Engine and Performance
When it comes to engine section, the Rolls Royce didn’t announce information yet. However, it is safe to assume that this model will be powered by a V-12 powerhouse. The current model is equipped with a 6.7-liter engine with the capability of generating up to 453 horsepower and 531 pound-feet of torque. However, the new model is expected to redesign the current engine and to have close to 550 horsepower and 600 pound-feet. We can expect this improvement even if the engine is the same. If you wonder why just don’t forget weight-saving space-frame. The new Rolls-Royce Phantom 2018 will be lighter than the current model and that will certainly improve overall performance. We expect acceleration from 0-60 mph in juts 5.7 seconds and the top speed of 155 mph.
Price and Release date
The release date of the upcoming model will be by the end of next year. When it comes to prices, this model will start from $460.000.
